  3. Hi DiAnn,I checked out the You Tube video about Canyon of Deceit from two weeks ago with Terry Gillespie. Oh my gosh, how fun! “Firecracker” When you talked about wanting math to be a super power, I had to laugh and shout. Hallelujah, a kindred spirit. Math! Hmph! I am the only one I know who took 030 math in college twice and still didn’t understand it. Yes to getting lost in my own backyard! Reading maps, groan! I get lost everyone I go., I always get found, but I use a lot of gas getting to my destination. It was so encouraging to know someone with a brilliant mind struggles with math and gets lost the same as I do. You have no idea just how much it comforts me. I was 26 when I went to college and had never planned to go. I showed my brilliance in my first freshman Geology class by stating,”I thought north was always the direction in which you are facing.” Oh my! The professor almost fell over with shock! “Ms D, surely you do not think that?” “I surely do think that,” I replied. I have since learned the difference. Nevertheless. . . .That dear professor learned too much about my “brilliance” that semester as I never ceased to ask similar “profound” questions that always threw him for a loop. All that to say, my heart is so comforted that math is also difficult for you. I have a friend who is a university math professor and he writes math textbooks! Ooooh makes me shudder. . . give me Canyon of Deceit every time! Now that’s good reading!!!!!!

      1. DiAnn yes, you my friend, are brilliant and with a delightful, vivid imagination. That’s what makes you YOU and makes your books pop! I love the adventures, too! Oooh gets me all twitterpated! I do expect an adventure and I am NEVER a disappointed!
My adventures are now through books and memories. PTL I still have both! Blessings!
