There’s nothing better than having more insight into our favorite authors. So I asked Laura  a few questions.

Q: What is your home state? I live on the east coast in Pennsylvania. It truly has been the best of all worlds. Drive two hours and you’re at the beach. An hour the opposite direction and you’re saddling up horses and embracing country life. Another thirty minutes and you’re experiencing city life, and a few hiking trails are tucked away too.

Q: What is your superpower? When I read a book or a Bible passage and a sentence sticks out to me, I have a photographic memory and can go right back to that book and know the quote was in the top right, bottom left, or middle of the page, no matter how much time has passed.

Q: What is your favorite vacation spot? I’m a beach girl through and through. Give me sun, sand, a book, and hide my phone from me, and I’m a happy camper.

Q: What is your favorite genre? I’m biased to the genre I write in, but romantic suspense is my favorite. I enjoy the action and who-dun-it mixed with a love story that all points back to Jesus.

Q: Do you have a hobby? I love music! I grew up playing violin and taught myself guitar. Now I’m learning piano! I have also discovered a love for plants and propagating these beauties to share with others.

Q: What are you reading? I love pairing a fiction read with a nonfiction book so I’m currently reading A Token of Love by Carrie Turansky and Wiser with Jesus by Zack Eswine.

Q: Any other special interests? Since middle school, I’ve been fascinated with the German language. I had a German exchange student in high school and got to visit her family in person for the first time in Germany last fall! And now I’m working on brushing up on my language skills to become fluent.
