Welcome romantic-suspense writer Sami Abrams to March’s Author Spotlight!
Sami writes incredible stories, and I know you will enjoy her interview—and her books.

Award-winning, bestselling author Sami Abrams grew up hating to read. It wasn’t until her 30’s that she found authors that captured her attention. Now, most evenings, you can find her engrossed in a Romantic Suspense.
She lives in Northern California, but she will always be a Kansas girl at heart. She is a retired teacher and has a love of sports, family, and travel. However, a cabin at Lake Tahoe writing her next story is definitely at the top of her list.

Chemist Eva Langer stumbles upon a discrepancy in her company’s drug trials and finds herself in danger. Her brother, the district attorney, has received threats tied to one of his cases and secretly hires his best friend, bodyguard Landon Barlow, to protect her. When Eva is almost killed driving home, Landon arrives at the accident scene with seconds to spare. Now, Eva must fight for her life with the help of Landon to discover who is after her. But is the target on her back linked to her drug trial discovery or her brother’s high-profile work?
Be on the lookout for Sami’s latest release! Deadly Rodeo Threat
When his twin sister disappears, Navy SEAL Logan Russell’s search for her leads him deep into the woods, where he finds her best friend in the clutches of a masked assailant. Sheriff Isabelle Sinclair is determined to solve Lisa’s mysterious disappearance the night of her last rodeo—and someone will do anything to keep her from digging too deep. When crucial evidence links Lisa’s case to a string of barrel racers who’ve also vanished, Logan and Izzie fight against the clock to track down a suspected serial killer. But when he sets his sights on Izzie, can they outsmart their enemy before both women end up dead?
There’s nothing better than having more insight into our favorite authors. So I asked Sami a few questions.
Q: What is your home state?
A: I grew up a Kansas country girl, but a few weeks after Hubs and I got married we moved to California for his job. Talk about culture shock. LOL! There are things I love about California and things I really miss about small town Kansas. And btw, Kansas sunsets are beyond amazing!
Q: What is your superpower?
A: Well, according to my husband, scheduling is my superpower. A highly organized, planned out calendar makes me smile. (Notice I didn’t say organizing my house.) Hehe! Hubs calls my calendar the decade at a glance. It makes me itchy not knowing what I’m doing a year in advance. Yup. I know. I’m weird.
Q: What is your favorite vacation spot?
A: I love cruises. Although I’ll admit that I’m a cruise snob. My favorites are Disney cruises, but I’m game to go on other cruise lines as well. My second favorite is somewhere in the Caribbean on a beach.
Q: What is your favorite genre?
A: That would be Romantic Suspense. If you read my bio, you’ll discover that I wasn’t a reader growing up. I have the attention span of a gnat. So whatever I read needs to move at a fairly rapid pace. I can’t tell you how many DNF books are on my Kindle because they didn’t grab my attention and hold it in chapter one.
Q: Do you have a hobby?
A: Not really. I’ve tried many things over the years, but nothing last longer than a year or so at most. However, I do love sports, so I guess you could say watching almost any sports whether live or in person is my go to chill.
Q: What are you reading?
A: At the moment, I’m in between books. But next on my list is to catch up on Susan Sleeman’s Lost Lake Locator series.
Q: Any other special interests to share with readers?
A: I love to travel. Now that Hubs and I are retired from our day jobs, we are spreading our wings so to speak. Yes, we are going on cruises, but we have also gone to see Niagara Falls, the Statue of Liberty, and the Liberty Bell. Plus, we’ve visited family and friends.
Q: What do you want readers to know about you?
A: I love TV shows like CSI and Criminal Minds. Give me a creepy villain and you have my attention. Throw in law enforcement or military/military adjacent and I’m a happy camper. I plan to explore more of a military/military adjacent style series in the near future. I’m super excited about that.
Q: Anything you want to add?
A: I’m currently in the middle of releasing a Rodeo series for Love Inspired Suspense. So, if you love rodeos, cowboys, and killers, check out my Stone Creek Ranch series.
Thanks, Sami! Be sure to check out Sami’s books.

Thanks for a really interesting post.
😁
Diana, I appreciate your reading Sami’s interview.
I love your author spotlights DiAnn! It’s interesting to learn more about favorite authors and to be introduced to new ones. I have read a couple of Sami’s books and enjoyed them immensely!
Mary, thank you for responding! Yes, Sami is a great writer.
I’m so happy you like them.
I think Sami and I could be best friends! We seem to have many things in common, especially cruising. That is my favorite means of travel. I could get on a cruise ship that just does figure eights in the ocean. I would be perfectly content reading, writing, and drawing.
LOL! Thanks, Cindy. I think you two would get along great too!
Oh, yes!! A cruise to nowhere would be awesome! #cruisebuddies
I enjoy romantic suspense too, so I’m glad to meet Sami and learn about her books.
Thanks for joining me on DiAnn’s blog!
Thanks, Debbie, Sami is a great writer.
Thanks for introducing new (to me) authors!
I’d love to have you join me and my (book) friends!
Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself, Sami. I have enjoyed your books since Pat Bradley first introduced me to one of your books on her Friday Reader’s Blog. I think that would have been “Buried Cold Case Secrets”. I love Christian Suspense books. I’ve already preordered the next two Stone Creek Ranch novels.
Thank you! I’m so happy you enjoy my books.
Pamela, you are so welcome! Sami will not disappoint you!
Tim, I have no idea how or why Pamela’s comment was posted for you. I appreciate your kind words and endorsement of Sami’s books.
