Lynn H. Blackburn loves writing swoon-worthy Southern stories—from nail-biting romantic suspense to butterfly-inducing contemporary romance—because her childhood dream of becoming a spy crashed into the reality that she’d probably dive behind the nearest potted plant at the first sign of actual danger. The truth is, she was more interested in those dashing fictional spies than in the actual spying. It’s safer for everyone for her to live vicariously through her characters!
Lynn lives in South Carolina with her husband, children, and an overprotective goldendoodle. She writes her novels in between homeschooling, parenting an adult with special needs, watching her boys play baseball, and teaching at conferences.

There’s nothing better than having more insight into our favorite authors. So I asked Lynn a few questions.
Q: What is your home state?
A: North Carolina originally, but South Carolina since I was 18…so…a very long time!
Q: What is your superpower?
A: I’m the mom version of a Swiss Army knife. If you need something, I probably have it. 🙂
Q: What is your favorite vacation spot?
A: The beach. Close 2nd – the mountains.
Q: What is your favorite hobby?
A: Love to knit and crochet. And I love to cook.
Q: Do you have a favorite genre?
A: Romantic Suspense
Q: Any other special interests?
A: Well…I did recently fall down the sourdough hole. I’m currently trying to grow a
gluten-free starter for my daughter. We’ll see how it goes!
Q: What are you reading?
A: I just finished a book, so my Kindle is mocking me with choices. Right now, I have Some like it Scot by Pepper
Basham and Christy Barritt’s Detecting Danger.
Q: What would you like to share with readers?
A: I genuinely love hearing from them! Very often, I’ll get an email EXACTLY when I need the encouragement!

Love Lynn’s books. Usually when the last book of a series comes out, I always reread the entire series right before reading the final book. I loved the characters in Gossamer Falls. Soon, it will be time to say good-bye to them. Sigh!
